Orchard Park Adopt a School Program

The Orchard Park Adopt a School Committee has implemented a  tutoring and mentoring program at Orchard Park Elementary School.  Each Rotarian is assigned a student and each student is given an opportunity to learn from someone who cares and wants them to succeed.

The Committee also instituted the Rotary Dictionary Project at the school issuing a dictionary to every third grader.  Dictionaries are labeled with each student's name and presented at the school.

In March of every year, Orchard Park Elementary conducts a fund raiser called the "Taste of Carmel" held at the Ritz Charles.  The Committee supports the fundraiser by promoting the event and selling tickets to Rotarians.
