Our Club

The Rotary Club of Carmel was founded in 1972 and continues to represent the highest ideals of Rotary International through its service-oriented programs both at home and abroad.

Our club contributes to many worthwhile community projects and provides the leadership for CarmelFest, our community's annual 4th of July celebration. We also hold an annual Freedom Ball leading up to CarmelFest celebrations that has quickly become "Carmel's Premiere Social Event of the Year". We also participate in the Carmel Farmers Market by providing a coffee, doughnuts and refreshments booth for visitors.

We are also involved in community service projects around the globe, such as contribting to the huge effort of Rotary International to wipe out Polio from the earth, eliminate illiteracy in many countries, and provide clean safe drinking water to poor people on many continents. We have been active for many years in the Youth Exchange Program in which we host incoming high school students from abroad and sponsor outbound local high school students from our area to countries around the globe.
